UP CLOSE WITH.....

been going up oare marshes after work trying to nail my flight shots with the 1d get some ok results but i admit i need a lot more practises



pleased with my results so far but it would be nice to have blue sky

RETURN OF THE SEDGE

made a brief vist to this very obliging sedge warbler same place as yesterday not the the one from the last post so rattled of a few shots which i must admit i am very pleased with




a few other shots a greylag goose,and a red shank,learning very quickly how good the 1d is very quick to lock on,the only issue is the Muppet that uses it,just getting the hang off it,

finished the evening off with the bonapartes gull

A SIGHTLY QUIET WEEKEND

a very quiet weekend compared to the last couple not a lot happened stoddy was very very quiet,at last the spotted fly has returned,but not in normal spot but someones garden just hope it it moves

thats about the weekend summed up a few shots from last week of a sedge warbler that was happy having its photo taken

OSPREY

osprey has been present on stodmarsh main lake for the last three days popping down after work and meeting adam,having cracking views as it fished can't say that about the photos below

 a few shots as it grab a fish from the water only the tip of it wings was showing

RETURN TO THE BLACK KITE

went today after work for another look at the kite,meeting adam,marc and dave it was always distant so i went and headed for the church,lucky for me it was there

JUST ADDING TO MY KENT LIST

the last few weeks have been great for me as most of the birds turning up are even lifers or kent ticks,after the thrush i add the bonapartes gull at oare and last friday great reed warbler at dover
Then yesterday news broke of beeater at stonelees i was gone meeting steve and steve soon had the bird in the bag

then this morning me and mayrtn return with martyn seeing it,then martyn got news of a black kite at faversham so we heading of up there within seconds we saw it so thanks chris
